From 13 to 16 May, the CE-Praxistage took place in Pforzheim for the 19th time this year. Once again, the conference organised by IBF brought together experts, specialists and newcomers from the field of CE marking for machinery, systems and electrical equipment.
The conference was divided into the CE Introduction Day on 13 May and the CE Technical Conference on 14 and 15 May. This proven separation of technical conference and introduction day ensures that both beginners and experts in the field of CE marking of machinery can gain valuable insights. The event was rounded off by selected practical workshops on 16 May.
On CE Implementation Day, conference participants who were unfamiliar with the technical and legal requirements of CE marking, or those who wanted to refresh their knowledge, were given an overview of EU regulations and standards, legal insights into liability risks and an introduction to the topic of functional safety.
The CE Introduction Day provided conference participants who are new to the technical and legal requirements of CE marking, or those who want to refresh their knowledge, with an overview of EU regulations and standards, legal insights into liability risks and an introduction to the topic of functional safety.
Robotics was once again a topic of discussion this year, this time with a focus on dynamic safety in production. The conference was rounded off with presentations on topics such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), the conflict between manufacturer and operator responsibility, sustainable production and energy-efficient machines.
IBF would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants, listeners, speakers and staff for a successful conference and looks forward to the 2026 conference. The 20th CE-Praxistage will take place next year on the following days:
